Mörsjö Deli carries on the Northern Swedish food tradition in a new way. Soft flatbread is lightly fried in rapeseed oil and seasoned with different spices. The result is crisp, crunchy flatbread chips that are perfect for the buffet, the cheese board, or as a snack with drinks.
History
Enjoyment for everyday and celebrations
In Jämtland, flatbread has been baked for everyday life and celebrations for a thousand years. The flatbread could be eaten soft or stored as hard bread for a long time in the storehouses. Flatbread baking could go on for several days, and in every village there was always a woman considered the best at rolling out the dough and a woman considered the best at baking it!
Products
Our delicacy chips—Flatbread Chips and Root Vegetable Chips—work great as snacks on their own, but also add an amazing flavor experience as a complement to other Jämtland treats, such as reindeer meat, moose meat, cheeses, bread, jams, and marmalades.
Mörsjö Deli also has its own Gourmet Dip Mix; a base of dried cream cheese with red onion, garlic, and chives—fantastic to serve with Flatbread Chips.
